The Majors White Sox marched through the Majors double-elimination playoffs in convincing fashion, winning all three of their contests en route to the championship.
The White Sox first round playoff game was an offensive explosion, with the White Sox coming out on top 13-12. The Sox tallied 14 hits in the game, with Jayden T (3-4, 2 RBI), Tyler T (2-4, double), Christopher F (2-3, 1 RBI), and Ryan Y (2-2, 4 RBI) all tallying multiple hits in the game. The victory propelled the White Sox into the winner's bracket final, where they faced the Red Sox, the team that had handed them two of their three losses during the regular season. The game did not disappoint, going into extras with the White Sox finally coming out on top in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a bases-loaded walk-off single by Sam L. The White Sox could have easily come out on the wrong side of the contest, as they trailed 3-2 going into the bottom of the sixth. Jake K drew a 1-out walk and then stole 2nd and 3rd to put himself in a position to score. Sam L delivered in this critical moment too, hitting a fly ball single to center to score Jake and tie the game at 3. White Sox pitching was particularly strong in the contest, with Tyler T, Jameson Y, and TJ B holding the Red Sox to 2 hits over nine combined innings of work, while striking out 11. Tyler T led the White Sox at the plate (3-4, 2 RBI).
The championship game turned out to be a rematch of the winner's bracket final, with the Red Sox coming off of a decisive loser's bracket victory over the A's. The game started out with the Red Sox jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. The White Sox narrowed the gap to 2-1 in the bottom of the second when Christopher F hit a lead-off double, Jayden T bunted him to third, and Jake K scored him on an RBI ground-out. True Boyertown baseball! The Red Sox pushed the lead back up to 2 runs in the bottom of the third, but the White Sox would answer with a decisive 5-run bottom of the third and never trailed again on their way to victory. The offensive explosion came via 7 singles in the inning, with Jaxon W getting the hit parade started. CJ C, Christopher F, and Jayden T all had two hits for the White Sox.
